It has been quite some time since I journaled/blogged. I've noticed with the passage of years, the advancement of my age that I have become less introspective, less thoughtful, less intentional about the way I live. It's likely part of a larger trend in modern society as a whole - living in only the current moment.
Living life passively has not gotten me very far, and I want to be different.
Perhaps by writing my thoughts down for my own review, it will encourage me to think more about who I am, where I'm going, and maybe help me in my quest to become the best version of myself.
Also, a good outlet for me to save something from my "here and now" that I and my family may be able to look back upon some years from now, especially since I never write anything down anymore.
